HINTS: A Gift Set should always include a Look Book, your

label on everything, at least one business card, a statement

about the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee

and a Gift Certificate for a FREE Facial & Glamour Make-Over

3 Rules for a Gift Giving Service

1. Make the Customer feel Important !

(ask them for something personal about the recipient)

(i.e., favorite colors, collections, hobbies;

then incorporate that into the gift)

2. Make the Gift look Professional !

(when you think its finished . . . add 2 more pieces)

3. Make the Recipient feel Special !

(if you are adding “fillers” make it pretty and/or functional)

Now ask yourself:

1. Does it look expensive?

2. Is it good enough to generate repeat business?

3. Does it look like something I would want to receive?

THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX:

12 days of Christmas Tower of Boxes

or

12 days of Christmas BASKET

or

12 days of Christmas CAN (popcorn can)

or

12 days of Christmas TRAVEL ROLL-UP BAG

or

12 days of Christmas SANTA BAG

12 Days of Christmas Wreath (3 – 4 ft. wide)

12 Days of Christmas Tree (3 – 4 ft. tall)

Color 101 Wreath (12 inches +/-)

Color 101 Mini Tree (12 inches +/-)

or . . . it’s your turn!

THINK FROM THE BOTTOM UP

What can I build a gift on? A gift basket, a, Easter basket or a picnic basket;

OR a picture frame (with or without the picture, maybe a favorite quote or a piece

of tin foil); a mirror, a gift box, a product box, a jewel box (ask your customer if

he/she has a special little something to add), a CD “jewel” box (old or new, empty

or full), a tool box, a lunch box, a mail box, fishing tackle box, an old candy box, a

NEW candy box, a flower pot (with or without the plant; a Christmas Cactus how

cute!), a sand pail, a bottle of ale, a coffee can, a cookie can, a paint can,

a trash can, gift bag, a wine bag, a money bag, a Travel Roll-Up Bag (“for him”,

“for her”, “for the family” (there are four pockets), or “the Vacation Get-a-away

Travel Roll-Up Bag”), a placemat, or . . . it’s your turn!

THANK YOU, BUT I STILL CAN’T TIE A BOW!

If you can tie your shoes, you can tie a bow! (look again)

Get over it!

Buy “wired” ribbon, let it do the work.

OKAY SO NOW WHAT!

Think of it as accessorizing an outfit, anything goes!

K.I.S.S. - Keep it simple Sweetie! Try to choose all one color or one theme,

so . . . anything goes with every thing!

Try embellishing with . . . more ribbons, more bows (mix & match), jewelry

(brooches, earrings, bracelets or rings), hair clips, fishing tackle, candy, candy

canes, Christmas ornaments, Chanuka Ornaments, flowers, toys, products or

product boxes, or . . . it’s your turn.

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY . . . Have fun with it!

and remember . . . nothing is perfect!
