Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra
Recommended for Grades 4–8
Meet all the different instrument families of a symphony orchestra. The NJSO tells
stories and shows emotions through music including Benjamin Britten’s delightful
Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra and Gioachino Rossini’s famous Overture from
William Tell.

Scheherazade: Arabian Tales
Recommended for Grades K–6
Journey to a faraway land with Rimsky-Korsakov’s magical Scheherazade. Hear the
composer’s interpretation of some of the most famous stories from One Thousand and
One Nights and discover the Arabian tales for yourself! Using masks, puppets, and
magic, the Enchantment Theatre Company will bring these stories to life.
