I.
Background, Reasons, and the Basis for this filing.
The revised tariff sheets are being filed pursuant to 18 C.F.R. §154.402 of the Commission’s Regulations and Section 21 of the General Terms and Conditions of MRT’s FERC Gas Tariff to provide for the recovery of the annual charge assessed by the Commission under Part 382 of the Commission’s Regulations. The applicable Annual Charge Adjustment (“ACA”) is determined annually by the Commission, and pipelines subject to such regulations are authorized by Section 154.402 to incorporate such rate as a per-unit component of its transportation rates. Therefore, the above-referenced tariff sheets reflect the new ACA rate of $0.0019 per Dth established by the Commission to be effective October 1, 2009.
