From the Word…
Now you have every spiritual gift you need as you eagerly wait for the return of our
Lord Jesus Christ. He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from
all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. God will do this, for he is
faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son,
Jesus Christ our Lord.

Sunday, 18 December, 5.00pm, St Paul's, 1 Harewood Rd
With the emphasis on happy family‟s at Christmas, St Paul's is offering a service of
reflection, music and prayer to acknowledge that Christmas is not always “happy.”
There are gaps in our lives that can contribute to a feeling of being alone, of
'feeling blue' in the midst of the society around us which seems bent on 'being
happy' and 'celebrating'. It seems we hurt at Christmas time in a particularly
poignant way, and cannot get into the festivities as others seem to be able to do.
Please accept this invitation to be with us - a time to move from feeling 'blue' to
experiencing the wonder and hope of Christmas. Our doors will be open to all who
come so please feel free to invite others to come with you, as your support, or if
you know that they too, are finding that Christmas hurts.
Light refreshments will be offered after the service.
