The 2009 national COTSS-Children Young People and Families
conference and AGM will be held at University of Warwick Conference
Centre, Coventry.

This fact sheet will help you plan your journey to and from the conference. For
accommodation information please see the main conference brochure.


Getting to the Conference


By Road

The conference centre is located on the main university campus just
three miles from Coventry city centre, voted Britain's most accessible city
by the CBI. The university is at the hub of the motorway network
including the M40, M69, M1, M6 and M5.

The Conference Park has on-site parking at £1.20 per day, Free during
vacation times.

By Train

Coventry station at just 4 miles is the closest rail station, however, Warwick Parkway
(15 minutes) and Leamington Spa (25 minutes) are also close by.

A regular bus service runs to the centre of the campus from Coventry station.
Simply take the Travel West Midlands 12 or 12a, or Stagecoach X10 or X12 bus
from the Warwick Road Bus Stop (signposted from the station).
Birmingham International Airport

Birmingham Airport is approximately 30 minutes by taxi (approx. 13 miles). A
frequent train service runs to Coventry from Birmingham International, adjacent to
the airport.

The conference centre is approximately 1 hour from Nottingham East Midlands
Airport, 2 hours from Luton Airport and 15 minutes from Coventry Airport.
