out its operations through three divisions:
Severstal Russian Steel, Severstal International
and Severstal Resources. Severstal Russian
Steel is engaged in the production of flats, long
and steel pipes for the construction, automotive,
machinery, and oil & gas industries. This division
operates steel production and high-grade
automotive galvanizing facilities, rolling mill, and
ferrous scrap metal recycling business. The
Severstal Resources division produces iron ore,
iron ore concentrate and pellets, and coking coal
concentrates. Under Severstal International, the
Lucchini segment provides rails, wire rod,
commercial slabs and steel spheres. This
division also operates in the US, France and UK.
Severstal is headquartered in Cherepovets,
Russia.
