resources company. It is a holding company of a
group of companies, which serves in various
African countries in the renewable energy and
related sectors. The company operates four
business divisions namely, Bio-fuels, Mid-stream
oil, Logistics and Up-stream oil. The Bio-fuels
division focuses on production of ethanol and
potable alcohol from the Kenyan Kisumu ethanol
plant. The Mid-stream oil division deals with the
distribution, sales and storage of refined oil
products in Nigeria and Malawi. The Logistics
division provides the respective logistics
services to Group and actively the mining
industry. The Up-stream oil focuses on
exploration and development of an oil and gas
field located in Chad. Energem is headquartered
at Johannesburg, South Africa.
