Student of the Week
The student of the week was Leopoldo G. Leopoldo is 6 years old and
celebrates his birthday on December 21st. Leopoldo's favorite color is blue,
his favorite food is macaroni and cheese, and his favorite book is The
Adventures of Max and Ruby. When he grows up, Leopoldo wants to be a racecar
driver. Leopoldo's family includes hi dad (Leopoldo), his mom (Angelica),
his brother (Ernesto, 3rd grade), and his sister (Natalia, 7th grade).
Leopoldo likes soccer. He likes to play cars with his brother and play
basketball with his sister. He likes to watch Zac and Cody on Disney.
Leopoldo likes joking with his siblings. He likes cooking with his mom. His
grandpa and dad are both named Leopoldo. Leopoldo is very spoiled because he
is the youngest (Mrs. Allan thinks Leopoldo's sister helped him write this
part ). Leopoldo loves Christmas and likes going to Mexico with his
family. Leopoldo likes the 4th of July.

Book Orders
December book orders are being sent home today. They are being sent home
early to ensure delivery before Christmas break. The December order is also
available online. Remember, each time you order online we earn a free book
for our classroom. Please return December book orders by Monday, November
30th.
American Education Week
We had a fun time celebrating American Education Week and dressing
differently for each day. On Tuesday, your child brought home a book titled
The Snowy Day. This book was a gift from the PTO. If you see a member of
the PTO, please take time to thank them for the book.
I LOVE Kindergarten T-Shirt Orders
We will be placing an order for I LOVE Kindergarten t-shirts. These t-shirts
have an animated picture of children playing with the phrase "I LOVE
Kindergarten" on the front. The back of the t-shirt features the signature
of all the kids in our class. T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies are
available. Please refer to the order form for sizing information.
Bells
The Kindergarten students will be wearing bells during the Christmas program.
I am soliciting help in making the bells. I will provide the materials and
pattern if someone would like to cut and decorate (glitter) them for me.
Please let me know if you are interested. We will need a total of 40 bells
(for both Kindergarten classrooms).
Snack
We do not serve snack each day but we do have snack on occasion. We are
running low. If you would like to send snacks, we will store them in the

crackers, cheez-its, animal crackers, etc. work great.
