   1) Description Of Works

   2) Sequence of Operations

        1. Dot and Dab

                  Set Out Wall
                  Clean and prepare wall
                  Mix, then apply dry – wall compound to wall in dabs
                  Place board on dabs 12.5mm from floor to avoid damp rise
                  Using straight edge, level board back in position

        2. 48/70/146mm Partitioning

                  Set out Walls from ....... set out points
                  Fix bottom track using 40 – 60mm hammer fix in concrete/screed, 13mm tex
                   screws if into metal

        Or

                  Fix top track (deep where necessary) to various soffits using either tex bolts
                   (steel) or screws (metal)
                  Cut in place 70mm studs allowing for 50mm deflection where necessary, place
                   at 600mm centres
                  Apply one/two layers 12.5/15mm to one side as necessary using Drywall screws
                   at 300mm centres
                  Install insulation from other side fixing, where necessary, with wedges
                  Apply one/two layers 12.5/15mm board to complete wall
                  Apply fire mastic to all perimeters

N.B when allowing for deflection deep top track should be used with 50mm deflection on both metal
and board. No part stud/board shall be fixed to top track thus allowing free movement.
3.       Fire Encasements – Rafters

              Set out work
              Cut noggins 50 x 50mm softwood to wedge at 500mm centres
              Apply 15mm Fire line board 2 layers to both sides to create fire protection
               through to underside of roof linings using Drywall screws
              Neatly Mastic around all perimeter edges
4. Tacking

          Set out work
          Measure work board and cut neatly
          Apply board to timber (by others) using 32mm Drywall screws

5. Gypliner Stud 1 Board One Side

          Set out work
          Fix bottom track using either 40 – 60mm hammer fix in concrete/screed or 13mm
           tex screws if into metal
          Fix top track using either tex bolts (steel) or tex screws (metal)
          Install studs 600mm centres, braced if necessary allowing for deflection
          Fix one layer 12.5mm board using 32mm Drywall screws (moisture resistant board
           to be used in toilet areas)

6. Ceilings

          Set out for lights tec.
          Fix perimeter trim with mitres on internal /external corners using 40mm hammer fix
           or 42 drywall screws
          Fix anchor/cleats to soffits to create hanging point
          Fix wire to hanging point and level tpo desired height
          Tie main runner bar to pre – levelled wire
          Connect 1200mm bars connecting main runners cutting outside bars accurately to
           ensure straight grids
          Connect 600mm bars to complete grid cutting outside bars accurately to ensure
           straight grids
          Carefully cut and place tiles in grid ensuring to keep tiles clean

7. Tape and Joining

          Scrim joints and paper internal/external angles
          Apply filler coat to all angles, joints and screw holes
          Apply cement coat to all joints, angles and screw holes
          Apply finish coat to all
          Allow good setting time
             Rub down to smooth, flat finish

    8. Apply plaster to walls

             Unibond wall where necessary
             Apply multi finish to wall in a 2 coat system to achieve a smooth flat finish approx
              3mm

    9. Making Good

             Clean and prepare area. Unibond if necessary
             Apply bonding to bring area to within 3mm of level of wall
             Apply multifinish to bring area to original level of wall



3) Supervision
   .............. or his working Foreman .............., will conduct supervision of Aphex Interiors work.
   It is intended to use sub – contractors who will work under their assigned charge hand.

4) Controls and Monitoring
   There will be an induction for each employee covering not only the specific issues relating to
   the project but also the generic health and safety aspects of the project.
   Aphex Interiors are to monitor their works to ensure that iti s done as per the M.S.
   Tool box talks to be carried out weekly.

5) Plant Inspection and Operating Training
   There will be control over scaffold and mobile tower erection and inspection.
   Erection of towers to be done by competent operatives and prior to work commencing
   scaffold needs to be inspected by either .................................. or ....................... or any other
   persons with PASMA qualification. Scaffold tags are to are used and signed off weekly by
   Aphex personnel.

6) Disconnection of Services
   N/A

7) COSHH
   COSHH will be required for products, taping materials and insulation

8) Safety of Public, Occupiers and Others
   Materials to be stacked neatly and out of the way to prevent the causing of hazard.
    Safety of the public has been deemed as not necessary as ..................................... have
    overall control of access on this site. However, Aphex require areas to work in which are free
    from other trades. To do this we will ensure that areas in which we work are closed off.
    A risk assessment will need to be done for working at heights, including working from
    stepladders.

9) Environment Controls
   All materials will be disposed of in the skips through a licensed operator provided by RG
   Group. Removal of rubbish during and after completed works. All Plasterboard waste will be
   disposed off separately in designated skips.

10) First Aid and P.P.E
    A .................................... representative will undertake First Aid, A First Aid kit will be kept at
    work. Fire extinguishers are located throughout the job as per induction.

11) Emergency Procedures
