Dear Sirs,
Sub : Design, Layout & Printing of JPC Diaries for the year 2012
Sealed Quotations are invited from the parties for printing of JPC diaries for
the year 2012. Quotations in sealed cover superscribing "Quotation for Diaries"
should reach this office on or before 2nd December, 2011 upto 2.00 P.M. The tender
shall be opened at 2.30 P.M. on the same day (02.12.2011). The tenderers /
authorized representatives of the tenderers may be present at the time of opening.
Tender Document for the said Quotation can be obtained from the JPC Office
at ―Ispat Niketan‖, 52/1A Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata – 700 019, against
payment of 100/- Or may be downloaded from the Website
www.jpcindiansteel.nic.in. If downloaded, at the time of submission tenderer will
have to deposit 100/-, otherwise the quotation will be rejected.

Sub: Bid for Design, Layout & Printing of JPC DAIRY for the year 2012
Sealed Quotations are invited from the parties for the Design, Layout & Printing of
JPC DAIRY for the year 2012.
Quotations in sealed cover superscribing "Quotation for Dairy" should reach this
office on or before 2nd December (by 02.00P.M.). The tender shall be opened immediately
(02.30P.M.) thereafter in presence of the tenderers / authorized representatives of the
tenderers.
Specifications of the Diary are as given below :-

9. Printing of Names : Names of the Officials are to be printed on the Cover.
10. Alongwith the quotation, atleast 3 different layouts must be produced (sealed).

Other terms & conditions :-
♦ Paper sample (both types), Hard Board (R.K.) must be produced for prior approval
and shall be authenticated by signature & official seal of the Printer. If dissimilarity
found after printing, the whole lot would be liable for cancellation, at the cost of the
Printer.
♦ Necessary Taxes & Duties will be deducted as per rules.
♦ The Diary, complete in all respects, should be supplied within 20 days, from the date
of Work Order/ from date of supply of final materials by JPC, whichever is later.
♦ The tenderer will have to submit the rates for each & every query, as asked for in the
prescribed proforma (Price Bid). The tender, incomplete in any respect, may be
treated as cancelled.
♦ Earnest Money Deposit of 3,000/-, in the form of Demand Draft / Pay Order drawn
in favour of Joint Plant Committee, will have to be deposited at the time of submitting
the quotations. For successful tenderer, this amount will be adjusted with the Security
Deposit. The envelope for Technical Bid should contain EMD of 3,000/-.
♦ A non-interest bearing Security Deposit of 25,000/- in the form of D.D./Pay Order
will have to be deposited after getting the Work Order within 10 days from issue of
the Work Order i.e. the L-1 vendor shall deposit the balance amount of 22,000/- as
Security Deposit. The D.D./Pay Order should be drawn in favour of ―Joint Plant
Committee‖ payable at Kolkata. Security Deposit shall be retained till the currency of
the contract and refunded only after closure of the contract.
♦ Submission of current VAT Clearance Certificate, PAN No., Company Registration
Certificate & Current Trade Licence No. are must.
Payment Terms : Payment will be made after successful delivery of the materials to the
full satisfaction of JPC only.
Penalty Clause :
There will be a deduction of 1% of total job value for delay of each day.
If delivery is not completed within the stipulated time, the total contract will be
liable for cancellation. In that case Security Deposit of 25,000/- will be forfeited
and the vendor will not be allowed to participate in future tender.
In case the L-1 vendor, after receiving the Work Order, refuses to comply with the
Work Order, both of their Security Deposit & Earnest Money Deposit will be
forfeited without prejudice to other actions available to JPC as per procedure viz.
blacklisting etc.
At the time of delivery, the measurement of the Diary will be taken. If not found
as per specification, JPC will have the liberty to deduct from the bill value at their
own discretion.

The quotation should be in two sealed envelopes –
One for technical bid containing EMD of 3,000/- and
Other for financial bid only.
These two separate envelopes should be enclosed in one large envelope.
First the technical bid will be opened. Names of the firms will be shortlisted on the
basis of technical bids prescribed in the Tender. Financial bid will be opened for those who
will qualify the technical bids.
Financial Bid will have to be submitted in the prescribed format (given below).
The envelope for technical bid should contain :-
a) Atleast one past Work Order of similar nature of job.
b) Documents in support of VAT Registration No., PAN No., Company Registration
Certificate & Trade License No.
c) Sample of two types of papers, Hard Board (R.K.) & Paper Rexin.
d) Earnest Money Deposit of 3,000/- in the form of Demand Draft / Pay Order
drawn in favour of Joint Plant Committee is to be submitted.
Submission of Tender
1. Tender papers, duly filled in, are to be submitted at the office of Joint Plant
Committee, Ispat Niketan, 52/1A, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata – 700019 on
or before 02.12.2011 by 2.00 P.M. The Technical Bids & Financial Bids will be
opened on the same day at 2.30 P.M. & 4.00 P.M. respectively.
The Price Bids will be opened only in respect of the techno commercially qualified
tenderers. For non-technically qualified tenderers, the Price Bids will be returned
un-opened.
2. The tenderer may contact Joint Plant Committee, Kolkata at the above mentioned
address during office hours for any clarification before submission of Tender /
Offer. No clarification will be entertained after submission of the complete tender.
3. The tenderers should sign all the pages of the tender documents as a token of
acceptance of the terms & conditions of the tender.
