TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Tariff
Two people $220 per night, includes GST
Four people $240 per night, includes GST
Six people $260 per night, includes GST
Minimum stay is two nights.
First Payment
Bookings will not be confirmed by Otama Beach View Cabins (OBVC) until the deposit
payment is received. If the booking is made within 30 days of the date of
commencement of the holiday the full amount owing on the holiday is required.
Arrival and Departure Times
The cabin you have booked will be ready for occupation at 2.00 pm on the day of arrival
and should be vacated by 11.00 am on the day of departure. You will be met at the
parking area and given your key upon your arrival, and we ask that you advise us of your
approximate time of arrival at least 2 days prior.
Vehicle and Belongings
All vehicles, baggage and personal belongings are at risk of the guest at all times and
OBVC can accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to any car or its contents.
Group Size
The number of people occupying the property is, under no circumstances, to exceed the
number of people shown on the guest’s confirmation. The contract may be terminated by
OBVC if the guest number is exceeded.
Linen and Towels
All linen and towels are provided but it is advised that you bring you own beach towels.

Damage/Accident
The guest is legally responsible for all breakages, damage or contamination that may
occur during the holiday and any cost for repair or replacement may be billed. Any
damage/breakage/contamination or accident/injury must be reported to OBVC
immediately.
Responsibilities of the Guest
The guest is responsible for the cabin during their stay. OBVC expects the guest to take
all responsible care of the cabin and at the end of the stay to leave the cabin clean and
tidy.
Procedure for Complaints
In the event of the guest not being entirely satisfied with the cabin, they should contact
OBVC immediately, and we will try to resolve the matter. Should any dispute arise
between OBVC and the guest which cannot be mutually resolved the matter will be
referred to an arbitrator.
Maintenance of Solar Power
It is the responsibility of the guest to check on and maintain the amount of power
available for the lights; OBVC takes no responsibility for lack of power due to over use
of lights or lack of sunshine. The solar power system is of an adequate size to run the
lights if they are used sensibly.
Cabin Availability
Should events arise beyond the control of OBVC and render the property unavailable (i.e.
flood, fire) then OBVC bay be forced to cancel the cabin booking. Should such
circumstances arise OBVC will refund all monies paid in respect to the booking.
