Harvey World Travel relocates flagship Melbourne store
Melbourne, 30 August, 2011 - The CBRE Retail Services team of Max Cookes and Zelman
Ainsworth has successfully relocated the listed international travel agency Harvey World
Travel's Melbourne CBD flagship store to 379 Collins Street.

“Harvey World Travel was confident the strength of the non core retail market would give
their brand the necessary presence in the Melbourne CBD, hence their decision to lease
379 Collins Street,” Mr Ainsworth said.
Mr Cookes said the CBRE Retail Services team had successfully concluded leasing deals
with a number of other major international and national retailers within the highly sought
after non core retail market in the Melbourne CBD. These deals included leases to UK
based luxury fashion retailer Thomas Pink, Switzerland based luxury watch maker Tag
Heuer, Australian chocolatier Haigh's and Sydney based hairdresser Blow Dry Bar.
A number of restaurateurs, including Guy Grossi's Merchant, Movida's latest restaurant
Movida Aqui and Paul Mathis' latest Italian concept have also established a presence in
non core locations.
“Melbourne’s secondary retail market has shown unprecedented growth over the past 18
months, as major retailers and restaurateurs have identified the opportunity to activate the
retail spaces at the foot of major office towers throughout the CBD,” Mr Cookes said.
