The Nile River!
The Nile River Is the The Longest
River Known To Man.
The Nile River is 4184 miles Long!
The Nile Runs into the Nile Delta, and
stretches all the way across Egypt.
The Nile is home to some of the
Biggest Crocodiles in the world, the

The Nile River is not only the longest river
vertically, (on the map) but it is also the
widest.
the word “Nile” Means “Nelios” meaning the
River Valley.
The Nile flows through 9 Countries!
The Mouth is the
Mediterranean Sea
Farming In Egypt!
Bread and Beer were the biggest crops
they had!
Reeds were the most used resources they
had.
The Nile had a wide variety of Fish such
as Perch and Catfish.
Farmers used shaduf the raise water.
Mining In Ancient Egypt!
10 - 20 tons of quarts are mined each
year.
Egyptians mine two main metals,
Copper and Gold and later the started
mining Iron.
Mining was Dominant near the Nile
River.
Copper was the one of the first metals
found in Egypt.
Building in Ancient Egypt!
If you were a Brick Layer,you would be treated
With absolutely no Glory.
Most of the Buildings in Egypt have
disappeared.
Egyptians Built tombs for not only pharaohs, but
also for workers!
Flooding occurred multiple times, making
buildings Hard to Build.

The Importance of Papyrus!
Egyptians used Hieroglyphics To write.
They used Papyrus to Send letters.
The first papyrus discovery was in Kenyon,
1889.
The first time Europeans bought papyri was in
1778.
Gold in Egypt!
Egyptians believed that Gold was
Indestructible.
Up until the middle kingdom, silver, was as
important as Gold!
Egyptians Believed that gold was a gift from
the sun god.
The most valuable gold craft is King Tut’s
Headdress.
Desert areas in Egypt!
Sahara is the biggest desert in Egypt.
It’s over 9 million square feet.
The Highest Point is Emi Koussi, Which is
11,200 feet High.
The Sahara covers 11 Countries.
Fun Facts
Egyptians had an average height of 5 foot 5.
For pets, children had Monkeys, and Gazelles.
They had 23 letters, instead of 26.
They invented the Pyramid and the Plow.

The biggest Bodies of water are:

3.) the Black Sea.
