Giza: It is the third largest cities in Egypt.
Its west of the Nile river.
Thebes: Its Greek for ancient Egypt.
Thebes was around since 3200 bce.
They made cotton from farming and they
settled along the Nile river.
96% of Egypt is desert.
In 3100 BCE ,Menes was the first
pharaoh.
Built strong armies to take over
Mesopotamia
They traded wheat, barley, and other
foods. They made crops for copper, tin,
lumber, and spices from Mesopotamia
and India
Hieroglyphics' consisted of many pictures
and symbols, writing was done on
papyrus . Papyrus was a plant used as
paper. They also wrote on wall for the
pharos to tell stories about the gods
Skilled workers worked year around on
crafts like sculptures, painting and rock
cutters
They were polytheistic
The social class in Egypt is pharaoh,
vizier, high priest, priest, scribes,
craftsmen, and lastly, farmers
