Job description
• Writers makeup their own materials for
books,newsletters, trade journals, magazines, online
publications, company newsletters,and
advertisements. These things get published for
anybody to read.
Educational requirements
• A bachelors degree or higher is usually need for this job. You
need to go to collage for 4 to 5 years to get a bachelors degree.
Theatre and music schools have play writes or song writing
classes. You also need to take English language arts courses.
Juilliard school of music, drama, dance has song writing and
play write classes. English language arts is very important
almost any collages will offer English language arts classes.
Salary ranges
• The amount of money you make
depends on what type of writer you are.
A magazine editor can make between
$22,000 and $71,000. An advanced
editor can make between $35,800 and
$131,000.

• Responsibilities are to finish the book on time, get

Work environment
• The work environment is very quiet and
calm. People aren't being load and
running around in the office or where
ever there working. You may work
alone or with another person who is
helping you write the book or article.
Most of the time you would be indoors.

What did I learn?
• I learned that as a writer you have a lot of
responsibilities. Even know you may be
working at home it doesn’t mean it will make
your work easier. If you work hard you can
make your books very successful. I still think
I would like to be this job because I’m very
good at writing and I think its something I
would enjoy.
