7 Days Beautiful Jiangnan Fellowship Tour (30 Mar – 5 Apr 2012)
(Shanghai, Wuxi, Nanjing, Suzhou & Hangzhou)
Day 1 Singapore - Shanghai 30 Mar
Depart Singapore to Shanghai, the largest commercial and financial city in China. Your tour guide
will meet you at the airport arrival hall and then transfer to your deluxe hotel.
Day 2 Shanghai - Suzhou 31 Mar
After breakfast, the day begins with a grand city tour of Shanghai – People‟s Square. Then visit
the Shanghai Museum. Proceed to City God Temple after visiting the Tong Ren Tang. View
the Oriental Pearl Tower and Jin Mao Tower. Travel coach to Suzhou, referred to as the
“Venice of the East” because it was built around a network of canals and bridges, which fan out
from the Grand Canal. The tour continues after dinner, you will take a stroll along the Li Gong
Di Street. (Meal: B/L/D)
Day 3 Suzhou - Wuxi 1 April
Today you visit the Lingering Garden -- the meaning of the name is „long lasting between heaven
and earth‟. Afterwards, you head to Silk Factory to witness the production of the finest silk
inChina. After lunch board the coach to Wuxi – one of the oldest cities in China with more than
3,000 years history. The symbol of Wuxi, takes about 25 kilometers from downtown area. The
Lingshan Sakyamuni Buddha (Lingshan dafo) stands solemnly at the site of
famous Tang Dynasty Xiangfu Temple. (Meal: B/L/D)
Day 4 Wuxi - Nanjing 2 April
Today you visit Liyuan Garden -- in southwest Wuxi, on the Shore of Lihu Lake. The garden
occupies 5.4 hectares, almost half of which is water area. It is one of the most famous gardens for
lake scenery in China. Proceed to Nanjing after visiting Dark-red Enameled Pottery Museum. The
tour continues after dinner, you will visit Confucius Temple. (Meal: B/L/D)
Day 5 Nanjing - Hangzhou 3 April
Nanjing is the capital city of Jiangsu Province. It served as the capital of six dynasties in China‟s
history. Visit Ming City Wall Park. Proceed to the Bridge of Yanzi River. The 4.5 kilometer long,
double-decker, Nanjing Chang Jiang Bridge was only the second bridge that crossed the Chang
Jiang after its completion. Drive to Hangzhou, you may take an optional tour, „The Night of West
Lake‟ performance. (Meal: B/L/D)
Day 6 Hangzhou - Shanghai 4 April
Hangzhou is a city with rich history and culture. Marco Polo described this place as “the most
beautiful and magnificent city in the world”. Traditionally, there are ten best-known scenic spots on
the West Lake, each remembered by a four-character epithet. Today you visit one of them, Fish
Viewing at the Flower Pond. Afterwards, take the boat cruise on the magnificent West Lake, the
symbol of Hangzhou. Then taste the well-known Dragon Well Tea at the No.1 Tea
Plantation. (Meal: B/L/D)
Day 7 Shanghai - Singapore 5 April
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight bound to Singapore. (Meal: B)
