					Welcome to World War One! Explore each of the links below and complete the activities as directed. Use this
information and this time to work on your World War One DI Summative. Use this time wisely! Reminders:
Complete the Causes of World War One question sheet, due when we return from the Break. Your World War
One Summative is Due between March 28 and 31st, 2011.

Go to Quick Links. Click on “Today’s Honour Roll”. How many of the dead listed were killed in World War One?
Select one vetran, research and record the details of his death.
Click on “Canadian Military Medals and Decorations”. How many of these were instituted and or awarded in
World War One?
Click on “Canada Remembers”. What is its purpose and why is it important? While on “Canada Remembers”
click on “archives”. Review the six menu options and enjoy the journey in to history.
Also review “Experience Vimy”. View the audio and video footage of one of Canada’s most costly victories.
