                                                      President’s Message
I cannot believe that my year as president has come to an end. It
was a great experience for me. I would encourage everyone to
participate in some way or another, even if you think you cannot.
There are many opportunities for service with different levels of
effort. There are jobs that are only once or twice a year and then
there are ones that are a year commitment. These opportunities are
a real chance for both personal and professional growth. Besides
the participation in the chapter’s operations will help you
accumulate points towards re-certification. Lori has attached the

Did you know that after you are awarded your CPPA and/or CPPM certification, you are required
to renew it in 5 years? The following pages list the many qualifying criteria for your renewal. As
you look you will see that there are many ways to meet the standards. For example, attend 4
meetings a year, serve as an officer or committee chair, attend a property seminar or be on a
seminar planning team. You need to start working on your renewal now, because the 5-year
deadline will be here before you know it.
