INTRODUCTION
The information in this booklet has been compiled by the Conference
Committee on Clergy Support and Pastoral Care. This resource is intended for
use by clergy and their families. Financial assistance, up to $700 per family per
year, is available from the Committee on Clergy Support for counseling for
clergy and their dependents. The Rev. Dr. Ravi Isaiah (phone 304-388-4290)
administers the funds for the Clergy Support Committee. There is also coverage
for counseling in the 4-Most plan offered by the Annual Conference.
Being listed in this booklet DOES NOT indicate an endorsement of the
counselor by the conference.
Counselors listed here are not necessarily members of the 4Most Health
System (conference insurance plan). The procedure for adding a counselor to
the plan is outlined in the Conference Insurance Packet. Please feel free to
contact the counselor to see if he or she is willing to participate in the insurance
plan. Follow the instructions in the insurance packet for adding the counselor.

Pages 4 - 42 lists counselors and agencies by District**
Pages 43 - 52 lists counselors by last name followed by their districts so
that contact information may be referenced by district.
**Each district has a section of counselors which includes name, address
and contact information. These Licensed Professional Counselors have
responded to a request to be included in this booklet and have indicated a
willingness to see clergy and families. We have also included names and
addresses of additional Licensed Professional Counselors, who have not
specifically requested to be listed here. Neither list is exhaustive and there
may be very qualified counselors not listed. If you are aware of others who
should be included, please forward their information to the chairperson of
Clergy Support.

GUIDELINES FOR COUNSELING FUNDS
DISPERSED BY COMMITTEE ON CLERGY
SUPPORT AND PASTORAL CARE

1. Who is eligible?
1. Clergy of the West Virginia Annual Conference
(For these guidelines, clergy is defined as (1) Elders, (2)Deacons, and (3)Licensed
Local Pastors serving an appointment within the conference)
2. Immediate family members of clergy (spouse and dependent children)
3. Divorced or widowed spouses of clergy for a period of two years after the
death or divorce.
2. What are the qualifications of the provider?
People licensed by the state to provide professional counseling. Must be a State
Licensed Psychologist, State Licensed Psychiatrist, State Licensed Professional
Counselor or State Licensed Social Worker. Temporary licenses are not recognized.
3. How much is available per family?
$700 per calendar year in 2003
4. What is the procedure for obtaining the funds?
The provider bills the clergy person=s insurance and sends a copy to Ravi
Isaiah. Ravi Isaiah vouchers the amount not paid by insurance to be paid by
Committee on Clergy Support and Pastoral Care. This amount is limited to
$700 for the entire family per calendar year. Ravi Isaiah can be contacted at
