(OWENS CAMPUS)

Delaware Technical & Community College • www.dtcc.edu/connecteddegree

An opportunity to gain an associate degree from Delaware Tech and a

bachelor’s degree from Peirce College.

YOUR PATH TO A BACHELOR’S DEGREE

Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that

connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor’s degree programs to

create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable

you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as

a junior.

THE CONNECTED DEGREE 2 + 2 CURRICULUM

Delaware Tech’s associate degree program in Office Administration: Paralegal Option at

the Owens Campus is approved by the American Bar Association. Along with general

education courses, the program offers specialized legal courses, with emphasis on the

development of highly marketable skills. A legal internship provides work experience to

supplement classroom knowledge and applications. Employment opportunities are

available in government agencies, the court system, law firms, banks, insurance

companies, and other private businesses and corporations.

Peirce College’s ABA-approved bachelor’s degree completion program in Paralegal

Studies offers a quality, flexible program in an online or campus format. Students have

free access to online versions of the Westlaw and Lexis legal databases, which allows

them to gain valuable experience in electronic legal research. Students also are provided

with a free copy of the Microsoft Office Professional Suite of software. Graduates are well

positioned for career success in major law firms, corporate offices, business, government,

industry or as a foundation for law school.

VALUE FOR YOU

By completing your associate degree at Delaware Tech, you’ll receive excellent instruction

in small classes at a campus close to home. Delaware Tech’s affordable tuition can reduce

the overall cost of your college education, making the completion of your bachelor’s degree

more manageable.
