This is presumably the entry for Thomas Henry Matthews, although his war record notes that he served with the Royal Welch Fusiliers and
the South Wales Borderers. He was in the Gallipoli campaign in 1915

Ivor Phillips served with the Anson battalion of the Royal Naval Division. His family have kept mementoes that he sent back: a
handkerchief embroidered "Souvenir d'Ypres" and a card "Remembrance from France"
