This Apple MacBook Air
review is aimed at would-be
purchasers of one of the
latest additions to the
computer market by Apple.
MacBook Air is one of the best
laptops Apple has ever made as some of features included in it vouch for.
The MacBook Air has a chip that is Core-2 Duo in a particularly designed
package with a small motherboard that reduces the thickness of the laptop.
The Air has an LCD screen which is backlit using LEDs. This not only saves
battery but also permits the LCD to dim much lesser or lower than the other
screens (CCFL) in the case of an extra or additional battery. This model has
Wireless N/B/G, 2GB RAM, Bluetooth 2.1EDR and 1.6GHz chip. It has an 80GB
Drive (4200 RPM). For these prime features, you will need to pay about $1799.
Fortunately, you can get this great product by obtaining discount coupons
which enable you to purchase the Air and other Apple products at substantially
reduced prices. The only disadvantage of this model is that it does not have an
Ethernet port. You will need to buy an Ethernet jack separately.
While the thinness of the Air makes it very fashionable, all the components
could not fit into it. Apart from the Ethernet port, this laptop also does not have
FireWire. However, it has a monitor port which is external, a headphone jack
and one USB-port. It has a camera (iSight) that can be used for video chatting
or conferencing.
The MacBook Air has one speaker which is, surprisingly, louder than those
