         Note: Reflect uses Qualcomm QSC6270 chipset.

Re-flash the handset

Re-flashing the handset includes 3 steps:
    1   re-flash the firmware;
    2   re-flash the file system;
    3   restore the hardware parameters;

Re-flash the firmware
     Use QPST-->Software Download-->Multi-image
     Browse and select the folder that stores the firmware files, then press “Start”. During
re-flashing, you might be asked to re-partition your handset, please answer “Yes”.

Re-flash the file system
    Since the firmware must match with the file system. So after you updated the firmware,
you should update the file system too.
    Use QPST-->Software Download-->CEFS
    Browse and select the file system images shipped with the firmware, then press “Start”.

Restore the hardware parameters
   Now you will re-flash the new hardware parameters or restore the old one.
   Use QPST-->Software Download-->Restore
   Browse and select the .qcn file such as F160_ATT_V1.8.qcn shipped with the firmware,
    then press “Start”. If the ESN mismatch, check the “Allow phone/file ESN mismatch”.

Other Tips

Check firmware information
   In the idle screen, dial *983*1275#

Capture a screenshot
   In the idle screen, dial *983*8783# to enable Screen Capture feature in the handset.
   Connect USB cable and use QPST-->Display Capture, save the image as a BMP file.

Access the file system of Reflect
   Use QPST-->EFS Explorer
   /mod/java is Java module’s working folder.
   /mmc1 is the micro SD card.
   /fm contains some sub-folders which are mapped in My Stuff. You can drag and drop
    your files to some sub-folders, i.e. to “other” sub-folder.
   CAUTION: DO NOT TAMPER ANYTHING UNLESS ZTE TOLD YOU TO DO THAT.

Get the latest firmware
    Visit ftp://216.74.251.43/ZTE-Firmware-Update
    The formal released firmware zip file looks like: Firmware_V1.0.0B06_0504.zip, which
includes the version number and the build time. In this zip, the firmware image, the file
system image, the hardware parameters files are included. In FTP, there are some
temporary firmware versions for test only. The temporary version usually does not include
the file system image and hardware parameters file.

Change your Java APN setting
   Maybe you want to use a different APN and connection setting for your Java applications.
Here it is (firmware V1.0.0B05 or later):
          In handset’s Main Menu, select Settings, then select Connections
          get into Access point settings, add a new one, i.e. myAPN
          Back to Connections, press Profile connect, add a new connection profile, i.e.
          myConn. Choose myAPN as APN name and configure other parameters.
          Save and quit to Main Menu
          Get into My Stuff-->Games & Apps-->Applications-->
          Browser-->Settings-->Connection settings, Select myConn and activate it.

   Now, your Java Applications will use this connection profile.
