ARISAH, NIM: 0711201837. English Education Study Program, the Faculty of

Teacher Training and Education. Widya Dharma University 2009. A Grammatical

Error Analysis of the Students’ Writing of Telling Unforgettable Moment of the

Eleventh Year Students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Jatinom in 2009.

This research aims at giving a description of the errors done by the eleventh

year students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Jatinom in 2009. The writer reveals the

errors and their factors contributing to the errors as the answer of problem of this

study namely of the students’ “What kinds of grammatical errors writing are done by

the eleventh year students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Jatinom in 2009?”

The writer uses the students’ work in recount paragraph as the source of

data. The data are collected then analyzed with recount methods.

After analyzing all of the data taken from the eleventh year students of SMK

Muhammadiyah 1 Jatinom in 2009, the writer can find some sentence having

grammatical errors closely related with make recount writing into English language.

The kinds of errors are omission error, addition error, misformation error,

misordering error, omission-addition error, omission- misformation error, omission-

misordering error, addition- misformation error, addition- misordering error,

misformation- misordering error, omission- addition- misformation error, omission-

misformation- misordering error, omission- addition- misformation- misordering

error.errors of addition, errors omission, errors misformation, errors of misordering,

errors of addition and misformation addition and omission.
