Description of the business:
This article is about a boss called Jason started a business of borrow famous brand hand
bags to his customer. He opened a shop called ICON Lady and it’s located in Causeway
Bay. In order to start his business, Jason had spent over one million to run his shop.
Moreover, as ICON Lady is the first shop providing services of borrowing hand bags to
customers, the profit made by that is quite famous to the office lady. The target customer
for the shop is the office lady in Central. There are a few problems with his business.
Firstly, the hand bags provided by the shop is quite little, it can’t provide much bags to the
customer. Secondly, the time to earn back his cost is too long. Although his shop is quite
famous, but the cost to fixed and clean the bags is too expensive, it’s a big problem to his
business.
My feedback:
I think this business is quite good as the demand of handbag will not be suddenly decrease,
so the transaction will keep going. Also, there are not much people can handle a bag cost a
thousand or even more, so he can have some stable customers. Although it has so many
good points to run this business, I think it will not run too long. It’s because the money
spend in this business is too high, I don’t think Jason can earn his profit in a short time.
Also, if he can’t buy some attractive bags, no customers will come to his shop.
