To parents and children of our base,
School council have met after we talked in assembly about ideas for
children in need day. We have decided to do the following activities:
Non school uniform day (optional)
Name the ted
After school shop
Art auction
Non School Uniform Day
If your child would like to do non school uniform day, please could they
donate 50p and come into school wearing bright clothes. Don’t forget,
you can come to school in school uniform and not pay.
Name the Ted
If you want to play ‘name the ted’, after school next week, there will be a
clipboard next to our ted by orchard door. Please donate any amount to
guess the name. Our teds name will be revealed on Friday 18th November.
After school shop
If you have any spare sweets after Halloween or you would like to donate
some bags of sweets, old toys or previous books, then please bring in any
items next week. Week beginning 14th November, there will be an after
school shop each day, where you can purchase some goodies! Of course if
you would like to back some cakes for this – we wouldn’t say no!!
Art auction
In class we are going to be creating our own art work to sell. It will be a
penny auction where you can bid for your child or another child’s art
work. In addition to this, we would like to welcome any artists at home in
drawing their own art and bringing in (adults too) for us to auction – the
more the merrier! Our auction will be during our open assembly on Friday
25th November.
