We would like to welcome you to Worthing Rowing Club. Some joining details are enclosed with
this letter and hopefully the following is self explanatory. However if you have any questions please
do not hesitate to ask any of the Club Committee. The current committee can be found on the
Rowing Club website at www.worthingrowingclub.com/

Membership Application Form
Please can you complete this and return it to Gemma Stoner or Helen Stirling. If you are under 18
the form needs to be signed by your parent or carer. Please ensure that all parts of the form are fully
completed.

Annual Membership Rates
This indicates the rate of membership that you need to pay. If you are joining part way through the
year the membership is apportioned to reflect that. If you have any questions about how much you
need to pay please ask Martin Holden, Gemma Stoner or Matt Folley.

Payment can be by Cash, Cheque (payable to Worthing Rowing Club) or Standing Order

Standing Order Mandate (ST0)
If you prefer to pay by Standing Order please make sure that you put your surname on the form as a
reference so that we can identify who is paying. The form should then be returned to your bank for
them to process but please let us know when you have done so. If you have any queries please ask
Martin Holden or Matt Folley

If you pay by STO and membership rates increase then you will need to make up the balance.
Likewise if there is a delay before the STO starts you will need to pay any arrears. Please note that
paying by STO is just a method to spread the cost and you cannot join for “odd months” here and
there.

Regatta and costs for other events are in addition to the Annual Membership

CARA Registration Form
You will also need to join the Coast Amateur Rowing Association (CARA). There is currently a
once only registration fee of £5.

Please can you therefore
     complete the CARA registration form and return it to Gemma Stoner
     enclose payment of £5 either in cash or by cheque (made payable to CARA).
