Select 7 important events from the list below that occurred between 1763 and 1775.

Boston Massacre Boston Tea Party Battles of Lexington & Concord Declaratory Act



On a blank sheet of paper, create a bar graph to show how tensions between Britain and the colonies changed

as a result of each event.



1. Beneath each bar, write the name of the event and year it occurred.

2. Inside each bar, make a simple sketch (image) to represent the event.

3. Then (inside the bar) write a sentence that explains how that event affected tensions between

Britain and the colonies.

4. Be sure to arrange the bars on your graph chronologically.
