I.   Jesus is Our Source of Life (1:1-2).
     A. Everlasting Life (John 6:40).
    Accept No Substitutes
“For this is the will of My Father, that
everyone who beholds the Son and
believes in Him will have eternal life, and I
Myself will raise him up on the last day.”
                               John 6:40
      Accept No Substitutes
I.   Jesus is Our Source of Life (1:1-2).
     A. Everlasting Life (John 6:40).
     B. Abundant Life (John 7:37-38).
    Accept No Substitutes
Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If
anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and
drink. He who believes in Me, as the
Scripture said, „From his innermost being
will flow rivers of living water.‟ ”
                                John 7:37-38
   Accept No Substitutes
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus
from the dead dwells in you, He who
raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also
give life to your mortal bodies through His
Spirit who dwells in you.
                              Romans 8:11

II.  Jesus Provides a Gift Worth Sharing
     (1:3).
III. Jesus Makes Our Joy Complete (1:4).
 Accept No Substitutes


   Are we accepting any cheap
substitutes for the joy and purpose
