Albuquerque. (jpg image attached)
The gift supports MRN’s Domenici Discovery Fund for research to find better ways to diagnose
and treat mental illness, autism, epilepsy, addiction, and other brain diseases and injury. Dr.
Romig is Executive Vice President and Deputy Laboratories Director, and Chief Operating
Office at Sandia National Laboratories. He is also a member of the MRN Board of Trustees.
The Hubbard Broadcasting Foundation this week also presented MRN with a gift of $2000. The
foundation supports community nonprofit efforts in regions where Hubbard Media Group owns
properties. Hubbard is the parent company of KOB-TV and ReelzChannel in Albuquerque.
“It’s gratifying to start the New Year with the continued support of these great corporate citizens,
“said Lisa Breeden, MRN Development Director. “Both gifts will accelerate MRN research to
bring better outcomes to so many of our family and friends facing mental disorders.”
