place to live.
IV. Open issues
a) Website www.asburyparkhoa.info:
Upcoming Events: Clean Up/Bulk Trash Day; Fish Fry; BBQ
Wifi, the board is looking into this for the community.
Easter Egg Hunt pictures are up!
b) Installation of Cameras:
Video cameras have been installed in the community. This is to safe
guard over the common area, only. In no way can the HOA guarantee
your safety and in no way does this replace your home security/alarm
system. This is not a surveillance system. The board, attorney for the
board and local authority will have access if needed.
c) Property Tax Appeal (Common Area):
Over $3,000.00 is owed to Fulton County and City of Fairburn. The
prior management company failed to pay. The board has filed an
appeal to protect our interest in hopes it will go through and we will
be able to pay back taxes and obtain our interests.
d) Farbest Park:
The park at the entrance of the subdivision has been closed, due to the
fact it is not handicap accessible. The HOA inquired if they could
transfer the property over to us, but unable as the property was
deeded to them from an estate, as a gift.
e) Juvenile Crime:
Serious problems with minor children breaking into vacant homes.
Letters have been issued to owners. Continued problems owners will
begin to receive fines. If any one witnesses minors in criminal activity
they are instructed to contact Fairburn Police immediately.
f) Ashley (minor, involved in juvenile crime) stood up before the board and
members with a sincere apology.
g) Children at Play:
The board is inquiring on obtaining a lot in hopes for a future (Year,
2012) playground for the children. In the meantime, the neighborhood
is asking parents to speak to their children to: Look both ways before
crossing; Do not play in the streets; Do not go into neighbors back
yards and cut through homes; Pick up trash (ie. snack wrappers, ice
cream pop, soda cans, juice boxes, candy wrappers).
h) Suspicious Activity:
If you see suspicious activity, you are requested to contact the
Fairburn Police Department immediately.
i) Police speaks:
They have a suspect regarding the stealing of a/c units.
Police advise, purchasing a steal cage to put over you’re a/c unit, lock
your doors, lock your cars, do not keep valuables in your cars. Go
through your home and jot down all serial numbers and keep in a safe
place.

Parking is not allowed. All vehicles should be in your garage and/or
driveway. Unless you have visitors. Cars parked in the street for a
long period of time will receive a fine from the board as well as a
citation from the police department. The police advised that this is
NOT good! If EMS or Fire trucks need to get through they wont be
able to fit. Therefore the person in need of emergency will suffer.
n) Best Kept Home Contest:
The board will be inspecting your yard! Best kept yard will win a gift
certificate from Home Depot! It is time to start mowing your grass
and keeping up your yard. Warnings and fines will commence for
those who are not keeping up with your yards.

The board has received the most complaints about dogs: dogs loose in
the neighborhood chasing children/adults, dog feces on sidewalks and
in the grass. Please keep your dog on a leash, It is the law that all dogs
are on a leash. Please pick up after your dog! Warnings and fines will
commence. If you witness loose dogs, please call animal control.
p) Fence:
The fence amendment has gone through. PVC is still allowed, but now
there is a more affordable option available, wood. Wood fences must
be maintained at all times and must be painted white. You can obtain
applications on the website. The board will review and respond
accordingly.
