Antitrust Movie
I think the movie was very suspenseful. The way they did this geek movie was very good
because you don’t see too many good suspenseful geek movies. The technology they had was
super cool because they can use it to spy on anyone in the world. Milo, the main character is
hired by this company called Synapse.
Synapse claimed to connect the world together so it is easier for everyone to contact
everyone. They also claim to have the best programming code. The truth is they been
murdering anyone who has come close or surpass them before they could put it in the public.
Milo’s best friend, Teddy had his own company and was murdered because he had surpassed
Synapse. Synapse’s main goal was to make millions of dollars from other company’s and
people’s ideas. Synapse had been spying on small companies and selected individuals that have
the potential to pass them.
Milo and his friends had began their own company in one of his friend’s parents’ garage
and always looked at Gary Winston and Synapse, Gary’s multi-million company as a monopoly
that is out to put everyone out of business. Milo’s company was called Sullbox. Milo and his
best friend, Teddy Chan was the two smartest guys there. Milo had graduated from Stanford
University and Teddy had also graduated from Stanford as well. While watching television, Gary
Winston had called them on live television and asked if they would like to work for Synapse.
Milo accepted the job but Teddy turned it down, saying that they are not playing fairly and is
already making a fortune. After Milo began working for Synapse, Teddy had created a better
programming code, and then he was murdered by Synapse. Milo discovered that his best friend
was murdered by his company and wanted to bring justice to his best friend.
Gary Winston was a multi-millionaire who own Synapse. He would kill anyone to kill
anybody who gets too close to creating a better programming code than what his company
had. Unfortunately, Milo’s best friend, Teddy was one of Gary’s victims. Gary had this charm
that made it impossible for Milo to refuse his job offer. After Teddy’s death, Gary had said
something that made Milo realize that Gary and Synapse had a connection with teddy’s
murder. Gary had put a lot of effort into getting Milo into his company and in the end Milo had
brought Synapse and Gary to the ground. Gary was jailed in the end for murder of many people.
Milo had help when he was investigating Synapse. He had thought Lisa, a co-worker and
friend at Synapse was on his side and trusted her. He told her everything and in the end he had
been fooled. Lisa was all in for Synapse. Larry and Brian was Milo’s friend that worked in their
parents’ garage for the small company, Skullbox. Larry helped Milo out and in the end he was
the one who that typed in all the IP Address and showed the whole world that Synapse and
Gary Winston are frauds and murderers. Both of them were really happy after they had
appeared on television because of what they did to Synapse. They had Milo to thank. Milo’s
girlfriend, Rebecca was a part of Synapse and Milo had distrusted her after he discovered that
there were sesame seeds in her tools stuff. In the end she had helped Milo out and
backstabbed Synapse without Milo ever knowing. Milo thanked her in the end.
Milo thought going to a TV station would keep him safe from the company but he was
discovered. Instead he had one of his friend, Larry do it someplace where Gary couldn’t get to
them. Lisa had pulled the plug up from under him and he didn’t realize it. When Lisa was small,
she was molested or raped by her step-father and so Milo thought she would help him. He was
stunned when he saw that she had unplugged one of the wires to the computer when they
were discovered at the TV station. Skullbox received millions to billions of hits from around the
world after exposing Gary Winston and Synapse from the garage. Milo had brought justice to
Teddy’s death and all the computer geeks who were murdered.
