LPO Candidate Featured On Jay Leno
OH-12 LIBERTARIAN CANDIDATE FEATURED ON JAY LENO SHOW
Travis Irvine, who is running as a Libertarian Candidate in Ohio's 12th Congressional District
race , was featured on
The Jay Leno Show last night.
In a segment called "Elected or Not Elected", Leno featured a 'jingle' commercial from Irvine's
2007 campaign for Mayor of Bexley, and mentioned that Irvine should "stick to politics", and
also that he "loved that song".
As with all the "Leno" shows, the
full episode
can be viewed here, with the segment in the Chapter 6 "Political Ads" section:

This appearance, and the outpouring of support that has followed as a result of it, ensures Irvine
will indeed be a factor in Ohio's 12th Congressional race, which is already receiving much
national attention. The incumbant, Republican
Pat Tiberi
, is already under fire from groups such as
MoveOn.org
, and will be presumably facing Democrat
Paula Brooks
.
The attention to Irvine is of the utmost importance now, as the
American people
are beginning to see that there is little difference between Democrats and Republicans. As
President Barack Obama
has opted to continue the war in Afghanistan on its 8th anniversary,
third party candidates
, particularly the
Libertarian Party
, now offer the American people the only anti-war option in the 2010 races. Irvine promises to
be one such candidate next year.
More can be learned about these stances from the Libertarian Party's website,
www.lp.org
, specifically the Libertarian Party of Ohio's website at
www.lpo.org
. Irvine's campaign website,
www.irvineforcongress.com
, is still under construction, but more can be learned about Irvine and his jingle from his 2007
Mayoral campaign website at
www.americanmayor.biz
.
