Men's Underwear, They're Not Just For
Women Anymore!
Many years ago when a man needed to get some new underwear, he would go to the department store and there
would be a few choices to choose from, but it was a choice between either boxers or briefs. As time went on, the
choices grew, but again, it was boxers or briefs, but now you had a variety of colors to choose from.
Women have had many different styles of underwear to choose from for decades and the choices keep expanding
through the years. Now a day's, when you search for a good selection of men's underwear, it can be a challenge
deciding which ones you want or even if you're in the right aisle at the department store.
It was once considered a "taboo" for men to wear women's underwear, but as time passes and history is revealed,
many men have worn women's underwear over the years. Now it would seem that since it is becoming normal for
men to wear stylish underwear, clothing manufacturers who have lines of men's underwear are moving forward and
producing men's underwear that are more in line with the women's styles.
There are many reasons men started to wear women's underwear, while some reasons may be a bit risky to mention,
other reasons are as simple as comfort and fit. Originally, men's underwear were made mostly of cotton, now you can
find them made of many different fabrics including many blended with cotton, but you also have silk, latex, spandex,
Egyptian cotton, polyester, satin, wool, nylon and many more that consist of blends of different fabrics woven
together.
Of course with all these different fabrics, it wasn't going to stop there. The demand grew not only for a more
comfortable fitting fabric, and since we all know how comfortable cotton is, companies were scrambling for the right
styles that would appeal to more men. In many cases, the appeal became, the less the material the better it would
sell. Then you have the other side where bicycle style shorts were designed as underwear for those who liked boxers
but didn't care for the loose material.
Now of course, it seems that all the stops were taken out and the style of men's underwear is now in line with every
style of women's underwear you can think of. Even bikini and thong underwear are becoming a popular men's choice
in style, and the ladies seem to be accepting this new style with open arms.
