WIND POEMS
Little Wind
By Kate Greenaway
Little wind, blow
on the hill-top,
Little wind, blow down the plain;
Little wind, blow up the sunshine,
Little wind, blow off the rain.
Those Wizards
By Adele H. Seronde
Those wizards
Of the winter winds,
The blizzards
Blare and blow!
The ice that binds,
The hail that
blinds,
White hazards
Of the snow!
The Evening Wind
By Adele Seronde
Over the moss
And the sleeping grass,
A wind came to toss
The tall tassels, and pass
By the sliding moon
On top of the hill,
And to carry the tune of the
whippoorwill.
