A Kansas City Couples Publication September 2006

September Snak-N-Yak The KC Couples is a social group for committed Gay and
Annual Picnic Lesbian couples in the Greater Kansas City Area and
surrounding communities. Our main purpose is to share
what is helping us maintain our monogamous,

discussions. We would like for this to be an area of
communication for the group. It will take some time to
get everyone use to the new tool, but we think it can
enhance the KC Couples Snak N Yak experience.
Our goal is to have a new thread started about each
snak n yak as it comes up. Each member that plans on
attending the Snak N Yak can go to the message
board and RSVP by leaving a reply to the post and
letting everyone know what they are bringing to the
Snak N Yak. That way, the hosts and other members
can check the message board periodically to see who
has RSVP'd and what others are bringing. We feel this
will help create variety in what is brought and prevent
too many repeats of the same dish.
We will test this for a couple of months to see how
much interest there is. Please let your voice be heard
by adding your comments to the message board
threads.
Please feel free to use the message board to thank the
hosts, leave ideas for activities, make special
announcements that may have been omitted from the
newsletter, etc.

membership directory in the members only section of
the site. There are times when members may need to
contact another member or send them a birthday card
or anniversary card. We can limit the amount of
information we provide in the members only section or
choose not to put any contact info on the site. We
wanted to ask the membership their opinions on this
matter. We assure you, We will not be posting any
contact info on the site without members consent.
