Diabetic Dessert Recipes
Following are diabetic dessert recipes that you can try:
Prepare 5 large halved strawberries, ¼ cantaloupe cut into cubes, 2 peeled bananas and cut into chunks,
1 apple cut into chunks and 20 skewers.
Thread the strawberries, cantaloupe, banana and apple pieces onto skewers, placing at least two pieces
of fruit on each skewer. Arrange the fruit skewers on a serving platter nicely.
Ingredients: 2 cups flour, 1 cup softened, ½ cup confectioner’s sugar. For filling: 1 pack cream cheese,
softened, ½ cup confectioner’s sugar, 1 tsp almond extract and 2 eggs beaten lightly. For frosting: 1-1/2
cup confetioner’s sugar, ¼ cup softened butter, 1 tsp almond extract and 4-5 tsp milk.
Firstly, make the cheesecake:
Mix the flour, butter and confectioner’s sugar. Press onto the bottom of a greased baking pan. Bake for
20-25 minutes at 3500 C.
Beat the cream cheese, confectioner’s sugar and almond extract until smooth. Add eggs, beat on low
speed just until mixed. Pour over crust. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
Mix all the frosting ingredients until smooth, spread over the bars then store in the refrigerator. Serve
while it already frosting.
Mix in a medium-size bowl, 3 cups mashed pomegranate pulp, 1 tsp rose water, 1 tsp lemon juice, 2 tsp
confectioner’s sugar and chill for several hours. Serve chilled in a dessert dish.
