The end of BASRA

An Extraordinary General Meeting on Saturday 30th May

was the final formality in winding up the Brixham

Amenity Society & Residents‟ Association.



In accordance with the constitution, members met to

decide which charities and organisations should receive a

share of money in the bank account. Much discussion took

place since virtually every charity and organisation in the

town deserves help, but the final list was agreed as The pirate weekend and shanty festival and the

committee members, especially our Treasurer, Brian

Blackmore, whose stewardship resulted year after year in
