present
the
exhibition
walk-‐thru
for
Crome
Yellow.
Join

The
evening’s
performance
will
include
Sound
Image
Sound
and
FLEA
laptop
ensemble.
This
event
is
free
and
open
to
the
public.
Crome
Yellow,
an
exhibition
featuring
works
of
art
by
graduating
Bachelor
of
Fine
Arts
(BFA)
students
from
FIU’s
School
of
Art
+
Art
History.
The
BFA
graduates
will
lead
a
tour
of
the
gallery
and
discuss
the
concepts
behind
their
works.
Many
of
today’s
internationally
renowned
artists
first
made
their
debuts
at
FIU’s
student
exhibitions,
including
Teresita
Fernandez,
María
Martínez-‐Cañas
and
Monica
Lopez
de
Victoria
of
the
TM
Sisters.
Crome
Yellow
will
be
on
view
from
April
23
through
May
9,
2010.
Sound
Image
Sound
returns
to
The
Frost
Art
Museum
with
a
new
performance.
The
ensemble
will
explore
new
sounds
with
video
projection
on
The
Frost
Art
Museum’s
exterior
facade.
Guest
Artists
include
Kristine
Burns,
Orlando
Jacinto
Garcia,
Eric
Goldemberg,
Jacek
Kolasinski,
Paula
Matthusen,
John
Stuart
and
Daniel
Viñoly,
with
additional
performances
by
FLEA
laptop
ensemble
and
clarinetist
Julian
Santacoloma
from
the
NODUS
ensemble.

In

The
Performance
Art

María
Teresa
Hincapié;

Figurative
Art

Past

the
Permanent

Target
has
teamed
up
with
The
Frost
Art
Museum
to
sponsor
an
event
series
designed
to
complement
The
Frost’s
exhibitions.
These
events
give
visitors
the
chance
to
meet
contemporary
artists
and
engage
with
controversial
art,
live
music,
talks,
films,
dance,
and
performance
art,
while
providing
an
excellent
opportunity
to
socialize
with
other
people
interested
in
the
arts.
