SOFTWARES DEVELOPED

1. Computer Aided Design of Machine Elements (CADOM). This software is

primarily developed for design of machine elements like gear, shaft, coupling,

clutches, power transmission elements etc. This is an Expert System wherein

if a design failure occurs in between, it is recognized. Comparison of this

failure with the Knowledge Base is done and related inferences are drawn

from the Inference Engine. Accordingly the program makes changes and a

foolproof design of an element is created. Drawing of the element in two and

three dimensions is created using AUTOLISP programs through AutoCAD.

Database management is done in C. Front end is done using C graphics.

Finite Element Analysis of the element designed is done by FEMAP and CSA/

NASTRAN.

2. Kinematic and dynamic analysis of Robot. This software does the direct and

inverse kinematics of PUMA Robot Arm. It also performs the dynamic

analysis of it. It is interactive software developed in C with front end in C.

3. Website and software development for Placement Unit of BITS Pilani, Goa

Campus
