Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. We have added two of the university recommended flag
requirements (2 writing flags and the quantitative reasoning flag) to the athletic training degree. Degree
requirements will fulfill these two flags.

CORE CURRI CULUM
All students must complete the University’s core curriculum, described in chapter 2. In some cases, a course that is
required for the Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training may also be counted toward the core curriculum; these
courses are identified below.
In the process of fulfilling the core curriculum and other degree requirements, students pursuing the Bachelor of
Science in Athletic Training must complete courses that carry flags in the following areas. Courses used to fulfill
flag requirements may also be used to fulfill other requirements.
1. Two courses that carry a writing flag.
2. One course that carries a quantitative reasoning flag.
