Place Value Puzzler is located on the FunBrain Web site, a great resource for a variety of innovative
learning games. Two place-value games are featured. In the “Choose Place Value” game, the player
identifies the place value of a specific digit. The “Round Number” game requires the player to round a
number to a specific place value. The “Super Brain” level of both these games includes numbers from the
millions place to the ten millionths place.

SpeedMath—Multiply and Divide
http://education.jlab.org/smmult/index.html
SpeedMath is one of several online games offered at the Jefferson Lab Science Education Web site.
SpeedMath develops mathematical fluency by engaging the player in creating equations as quickly as
possible. The player is given four digits to use and must determine what sequence of operations will
result in the answer. After a few rounds of “Addition and Subtraction,” try your hand at “Multiply and
Divide.”
