Summary: Gangster/caper/blaxploitation film set in contemporary Los Angeles. A
remake of the Asphalt jungle with an all black cast, made to exploit the
market created by the Shaft films. Sidney Lord Jones (Rasulala) is a recently
released convict with a plan to steal $3 million in jewels. Among the
accomplices he recruits is Travis Battle (Watkins) a Vietnam vet who is
struggling to straighten out his life.
