He peered over the side and saw that in
another instant he and everything in the can
 be dumped into the big truck.
Dump:
(1) vt. 傾倒, 卸下;

     untidy way

All aroud him was garbage,smelling
strong .Under him,over him,on all four
sides of him-garbage.Just an enormous
world of garbage and trash and smell.
It was a messy spot to be in.
Messy:

EX. Sorry the place is so messy, I haven't
     had time to clear up.
