An Autostereogram By Sylvia Odhner
“Autostereogram” is the technical term for what most people think of as “Magic Eye”. Magic Eye is a popular
collection of autostereograms. Anyway, I found out that these hidden 3-dimensional images are not that hard
to make in a Paint program. Here is an example of one. Look at the image below. Diverge your eyes until the
pattern meets again. In other words, look deeper into the image. □

Souls of a Feather Flock Together By Daniel Van Note
Bluebird Bluebird sing me a song Flying high above the clouds
A song that I will hear from above All you birds chirp aloud
With my one and only love Sing and fly O’ proud and high
If I die before I wake I pray Cry a cry of life and flame
To you for my soul to take Hear my prayer of love and pain
Help me gain no weight of shame
Redbird Redbird hear my praise
A praise so proud my soul will shake Clear the path to where the whippoorwill
Into the corners of the boroughs we live Sing - and dance and dance - and sing and sing
Look at the stars O’ how they shine Free the passage to where the morning bells ring
Shine like the hearts of the Divine Eat the fruit of life we bear
Ride the winds with birds on high. □
Blackbird Blackbird see me clear
Show me where to go from here
Map the journey my soul has set
Into the ocean we sail for shore
Cold air we will breath O’ once more The Lord is Walking by James Barry
Greenbird Greenbird show me the way
Down the road we skip and play
Over the hills and far away The Lord is walking this morning
Feel the winds and savor the day Yes, he is walking...
Moons of wonder with dismay Up sidewalks on Riverside
under dark trees, on cobblestones,
Whitebird Whitebird light my path breathing the stillness beside the river...
So I won’t fall and crash watching the slow tugs and barges move between the branches;
Warm my heart and heat my soul the Lord is walking this morning, yes, he is walking.
So I won’t feel alone
Cleanse my hands of this burden I hold The Lord is riding this morning
yes he is riding

Deadbird Deadbird where are you? yes he is riding.
I need help before my eyes
Where I stand and where you lie The Lord is driving this morning,
HOPE I can do without you... alive a taxi he's driving...
Into the woods and under the brush wet asphalt of Morningside,
Pieces of Eden under the cuff up Amsterdam he's driving,
looking for someone this hour...
I birds I birds can do this on my own this minute the Lord rides.
Without your help from your thrones
From on high to below From earliest dawn, sailing so fast,
Green of the Earth and Blue of the sky in a smooth procession down empty avenues under crescent moon
Why bird? Why bird? Must you die? and windows with sweet-dreams lamplight, past tender fading night-

There is hope yet to come:
From the sun a new bird will be born

The troubles of my burden will be torn
