Chapter 26: Army Hams
*Location: Recruitment Camp*
James: *And here’s the plan: We’re gonna see about convincing the captain about having the
girls at least backing them up.”
Bijou: “Are you sure about this?”
Sora: “It’s either this, or the girls stay behind.”
The girls *Excluding Ping*: *Groan*
Ping: “We have to make it work!”
*The group walks towards the line-up*
Mushu: *Pops out* “Remember, girl- Man-ly!
*Ping walks to the line-up in odd way*
James: *Notices Ping’s odd walk* “What are you doing?”
*Sora walks into his place in line, until three people, (Characters from Mulan) butt in. Those
three are Ling, Yao, and Chein-Po*
Yao: “‘Bout time we got some grub.”
*He shoves Sora out of the line, taking his place in the line*
Sora: “Hey, no cutting!”
Donald: “Get out!”
*Yao, punches Sora down*
Sora: *While getting punched* “OW!”
Ham-hams: *Surprised yell*
*Donald grumbled then tackles Yao*
Yao: “Back off!”
*Yao tries to fight off Donald with the Ham-hams watching worriedly, Ling and Chein-Po shows
up*
Ling: “Hey, a space in line!” *Shoves Yao*
Chein-Po: *Shoves them both.* “ I wonder what they’re serving for lunch today.”
Yao: “Knuckle sandwiches!” *Leaps towards Chein-Po*
Donald: *Screaming*
*A brawl ensued that includes Sora joining in shortly after it begins*
Sora: “That does it!”
*After the brawl lasts for a little while (With Chein-Po not involved), Ping stopped the fight by
saying-*
Ping: “Please!”
Pashmina: “You must stop!”
*The guys stopped fighting and gave a confused look to the girls.*
Ling: “Please!”
Yao: “What a girl!”
Ping: “Uh, knock it off!”
Yao: “Knock what off?”
Sora: “You punched me!”
Donald: “Cutting in line!”
Ling: “What a shrimp!”
Mushu: *Pops out again* “Who are you calling a shrimp, panda lips!? I’m a bona fide guardian
dragon!”
Ping: *Puts Mushu back down the armor* “L-let’s just get back in line, okay?”
Sora: “Whose side are you on? I just got slugged!”
Yao: “Want some more?”
*Yao notices the girls*
Yao: “Hey, aren’t ladies forbidden in the army?”
Ling: “Yeah, especially the shrimpy one!”
Penelope: “What did you say!?”
*Pashmina Holds Penelope back, seeing as she got about to unleash heck on Ling.*
Pashmina: “Penelope, don’t!”
Sandy: “Cool it, girls! Look, we’re here to see if we can convince the leader of this army to, like,
accept outside help!”
Yao: “Sorry, we men don’t need no help.”
Sandy: “But-“
Ling: “Take a hike!”
Sandy: *Growling* “You guys have no respect for women, don’t you!?”
Yao: “Them’s the rules, kid. No women. Period.”
Maxwell: “Hey, that’s no way to treat a girl!”
Yao: “What, you her boyfriend or somethin’?”
Maxwell: *Startled yelp, blushes, then leans his head, as if saying, darn it.*
Yao: “Ha! What a wimp!”
James: “Hey man...”
Yao: “What?”
*James lets loose a fist on Yao’s face.*
The ham-hams *Excluding Sandy and Maxwell*: *Surprised Gasping*
Sora’s group: *!*
Wisdom couple: *!*
*Yao stops for a moment before saying-*
Yao: “You want a piece a me, pal?”
James: “What does it look like? When you want to mess with my friends, that’s when I get
ticked off.”
Maxwell: “James... You don’t have to cut in!”
James: “He just dissed you! Am I gonna stand around and let my friend take that?”
Maxwell: “This is my problem. But I have to say thanks for defending me.”
Yao: “Then allow me to deliver-!”
???: “Soldiers! Get back in line!”
Everyone: *!*
*Captain Li Shang: If you watched Mulan, then you would know what he looks like!*
Ling: “The Captain!”
Cappy: “Everyone in line!”
*The line was formed, leaving the girls out. Shang notices the girls*
Shang: “Women are forbidden in the army. Do you wish to dishonor us and yourselves?”
Sandy: “Listen to me, Captain. We’re here a make a deal with you!”
Shang: “I don’t have time for this. The seven of you: OUT!”
Bijou: “But sir!”
Shang: “I said-“
Penelope: *!* “Look out!”
Sora: *!*
*Several Shadows and Nightwalker Heartless appears.*
Ping: “What are they?”
Sora: “Heartless!”
James: “Not to mention target practice.”
Ling: “Oh yeah?”
*Yao’s group high-tailed it out of there*
Sandy: “You complete cowards!”
Maxwell: “Cool it, Sandy!” *Summons Keyblade* “Let’s take care of these guys first!”
*Everybody else summons their weapons.*
Sora: “Ping, I hope your ready!”
*Shadows: 10 Nightwalkers: 5*
*Here’s the fight: The Nightwalkers didn’t show up until half of the shadows are toast.*
Sora: “Whoa!”
*Sora guards a Nightwalker’s attack, an counteracts with Counter Guard: Sends a shockwave
and pushes foes back, damaging them in the process, defeating the Nightwalker.*
*Maxwell gets stuck by a Nightwalker’s counterattack, sending him flying towards a tent.*
Maxwell: “Ah!”
Sandy: “Maxwell!”
*Maxwell crashes into the tent, exploding on contact, frying him.*
Maxwell: *Cough*
James: “That’s gotta hurt.”
Sandy: *Growling*
James: *!* “Uh-oh, I think she’s ticked.”
*Sandy activates Tornado: Twirls Keyblade, making a miniature gust occur, then thrusts it up,
causing a green tornado to appear, sucking up, and causing severe damage to enemies after they
land. She takes out the rest of the shadows and one Nightwalker with that technique.*
Guys *Excluding Maxwell and James*: “Whoa.”
Girls *Excluding Sandy*: *Surprised gasping*
James: “Yikes.” [To Maxwell] “Remind me not to tick her off.”
Maxwell: “Same here.”
Shang: “Hmm...She might be useful after all.”
Maxwell: “MIGHT? She is!”
James: “She’s at it again!
*Sandy executes Judgement: A wind based Strike Raid: She hurls the Keyblade: If it hits an
enemy, it will home in to its’ target(s) until its 5th blow, in which the Keyblade returns to Sandy.
She defeats a Nightwalker with the initial attack, the rest are defeated with the homing move.*
Sandy: “Gotcha!”
Shang: “I’m impressed with your ability to fight, even though you’re a girl.”
Sandy: “Well, what did you expect! I’m sure a man like you can handle them.”
Shang: “I’ll let you help us, under one condition: You are to make sure that your friends are able
to fight, as hard as you do. But know this: if you dishonor this once, you and your friends are
dismissed.”
Sandy: “Captain!” *Salutes* “Yes sir! Like, they, and I, won’t let you down!”
Stan: “I think sis just blew them away, Ping.”
Ping: “Agreed. Here she can hold her own, and there’s me. I can barely hold a sword!”
James: “With practice, I’m sure you’ll get it.”
Shang: “All of you, what are your names?”
*Everyone of the men stated their name.*
Shang: “The one’s that can fight are welcome in my troop. There is some that are in need of
improvement, but some of your battle skills are encouraging.”
Ping: “I am Ping, son of Fa Zhou-“
Shang: “You should return home.”
James: *!*
Ham-ham girls: *!*
Ping: “B-but...That would dishonor my family!”
Shang: “You rather dishonor my troops?”
Ping: “Don’t make me-!”
*Everybody stares at Ping*
James: “Cool it, Ping.”
Hamtaro: “If all of us, including Ping, do our best, we’ll get stronger in no time!”
Shang: “Hmm...”
*Pashmina had an idea bulb appear over her head*
Pashmina: “Can you hand us some assignments? 9 of them, at least!”
James: “What are you!?”
Pashmina: “Sora, Donald, Goofy, James, Sandy, and I are going to be one group! Our
assignments are gonna be guarding the camp! Cappy, Penelope, Oxnard, Pepper, Ping and
Maxwell are gonna another group! Their missions are going to train them further on to use the
their weapons! The rest of us are going to be on scouting missions, checking out the terrain!”
Shang: “What will that-“
Pashmina: “We’ll show you how well we can work together!”
Everyone else (But Shang and Ping): *Agreeing headshakes*
Shang: “So...you all want to be tested, then?” *Gives a few seconds to think* “Very well. Our
orders are to ambush Shan-Yu’s army on the way here. They should be coming through the
mountain path.”
Donald: “We’ll smash them!”
Penelope: “We’ll knock them into next week!”
Pashmina: “YOU won’t do anything.”
Penelope: “What? But I-“
Pashmina: “You have as much problem as Ping here! You NEED the training!”
Penelope: “But...”
Pashmina: “No buts, ifs, or maybes!”
Penelope: *Teary eyed look*
Pashmina: “I’m sorry Penelope, I know you don’t want to leave my side, but, I really think you
need this training.”
Penelope: “I-I... I just want to help!”
James: “You are helping! You’re getting stronger so that the bad guys won’t knock you ‘round
silly as fast.”
Penelope: “But what about Pashmina? She has problems holding a sword herself! For example,
you would prevent yourself from doing anything that might that hurt people.”
Pashmina: “James is there to back me up!”
Sora: *Walks up to Penelope* “Penelope. Pashmina wants you to get stronger so that you can
hold your own out there. There will be a time in which you will have to defend yourself, or
others around you. Well, there will be even a time in which YOU have to defend Pashmina.”
Penelope: “Do I have...to do it?”
Pashmina: “Mm-hm!”
*Penelope goes into deep thought, thinking about the time she was defended from Xigbar’s
attack, blocking the Morning Star Heartless, the battle with Roxas, and even the transformation
she and Cappy got.*
Penelope: “I still got a lot to learn to be a warrior... How to defend others, including
Pashmina...I’ll do it!”
Sora: *!* “Really!?”
Pashmina: “Are you actually gonna do it?”
Penelope: “Well, I still have to get even with James, for saving me. Also I got a lot to get Roxas
back for!”
James: “That’s the ticket!”
Pashmina: “Well these assignments aren’t gonna start by themselves!”
Shang: “She’s correct. Well divide into the groups she mentioned. Training is going to be at the
Checkpoint. The Scouting team is going to go up the mountain path, and clear a route over to the
village near the summit. Defenders of this camp are going to make sure that no one of Shan-Yu’s
army is to sneak up on us.”
Lapis: “Sounds pretty easier said then done. Well, me, Lazuli, and Flora are going to tend to the
injuries, after all, with the other girls busy, you won’t have time to help.”
Lazuli: “If you get hurt, just leave the fixing up to us! With Flora’s Lessons, we’re sure to be an
asset!”
Flora: “Just be careful out there!”
Panda: “I can repairs to camp. All I need is some cloth and some sticks.”
Stan: “If you need some motivation, just come talk to Stan, yo!”
Dexter: “Me and Howdy are going to keep a lookout.”
Okini: “I guess that leaves me with any damage payments.”
Sky-ham: “I’ll be your eye to the sky!
Cappy: “Hey, Ping! Are you going to be alright?”
Ping: “I-I’ll be fine...”
Shang: “Now with that settled, all of you, get to work. Your Missions are concocted of three
parts, each functioning as a mission. Remember, even the smallest missions have their greater
purpose. All of you, Stay Alert!”
Everyone else: “SIR!”
