HERE ARE THE "PREZ SAYS" AND NOVEMBER MINUTES RESENT AS A FEW DID NOT RECEIVE
THEM-HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL-SEE YOU JAN 11TH...
The November 9th meeting of the No Name Car Club was called to order by President Neil Dolce' at
Woodies Grill. He asked if there were any additions or corrections to the Secretary's minutes from the
last meeting. A motion was made and seconded to accept the minutes as printed in the newsletter.
The Treasurer's report was given by Jim Perry. We have $3,000. in one account and the regular checking
balance is $1,632.70. There has been no recent activity. To date we have seventeen paid members.
Neil thanked Wayne Ferguson for doing such a great job as the Car Show Coordinator and Newsletter
Editor. He added that Wayne and Kathy had recently attended the "Tin Can Tourist Trailer Show". The
trailer which Wayne has restored won Best of Show. Congratulations...
Tony Barthel reported about the club's website. He has been in touch with Bill Barquist's daughter. She
is attempting to find the informatiom that is needed to access the site. Tony suggested that perhaps we
should just go ahead and create a new one. He will use "The No Name Car Club.com." He requested that
members e-mail pictures of their cars to him to post.
Jim Perry recently met Ann Barquist. She is doing well and has acquired a Studebaker truck that Bill had
been working on.
Old Business: Barbara Harrison reported that the Christmas Party will be held at Zino's Restaurante on
Tuesday, December 7th. The cost will be $35.00 per person. The entrees will be steak, salmon and a
vegetarian dish. A sign-up sheet was passed around. Neil will call members who are not present this
evening and get their choices. It was decided to not have a gift exchange. There will be a cocktail hour
beginning at 6:00 and dinner will be served at 7:00.
New Business: Neil asked the membership if they wished to continue having the raffle Grand Prize be a
reproduction gas pump as it was at this year's show. A vote was taken, and the tradition will be continued
at next year's show. Wayne will order and assemble the pump. A discussion followed about where to store
it. A suggestion was made that perhaps we could display it at local businesses prior to the show. There
was no decision made on this matter.
Car Show Coordinator Richard Hernaez presented the guidelines for the show. He outlined the jobs that
needed to be accomplished by the various committes. A number of members have indicated that they are
willing to assist with registration, raffle, set-up and parking. Colin Gilmore will
again have the flyers printed for us, Richard outlined his plan to change the photos of cars on the
brochure, but not the general format. Members may submit a photo of their car or cars, the deadline for
photos to Richard is December 1st.
There will not be a December meeting. January's meeting will be at Woodies on January 11, 2011. Meeting
adjourned at 7:40.

Happy New Year to all. Here we are with another year behind us. Time flies when you're having fun.
Looks like we're off to a good start preparing for our show. Things are starting to fall into place, thanks
to all who are working to produce a fine show. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.
Our Christmas Party at Zino's was a great success. The turnout was probably the biggest we've had for a
winter event. I'm sorry for those who missed it.
I wish you all a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. The next meeting will be at Woody's, Tuesday.
January 11. Dinner will be at 5:30. Choice of entrees are Prime Rib, Chicken and Rock Shrimp Burritos.
The meeting will follow dinner. Don't forget dues are due....$30.00. Neil
