Each semester the Department hosts a
Working Journalists Seminar Series which
award-winning student media
highlights the richness of diversity within
the journalism field. Professionals represent

The Journalism Department offers 12 scholarships for journalism
students. That’s in addition to the numerous University-wide scholar-
ships for all majors. Students submit an application in February and, if
selected, are awarded the money for the next academic year.
