AIDS
AIDS is a serious health problem that threatens the entire human population.It is fast spreading
incurable disese.The disese AIDS was first noticed in USA 1981.It is disorder of immune system of
the body.There is a reduction in the number of helper.T-cells which stimulate antibody production
by B-Cells.This results in loss of natural defence system against viral infaction.It is caused by
a virus nameds HIV(human immunodeficiency virus).The virus was discovered in 1948 by American and
French scientists independently.there names Robert Gull And Lece.Montagnier respectively AIDS may
have passed from a monkey host into human population in Africa during the 1960's.It is hearting to
knoew that 10% of the people who get AIDS virus infection actually develop full blown AIDS.AIDS
stands for Acquired immune deficiency syndrome.
Transmission:AIDS is transmitted only by a contact of infected cells containing blood of a patient
with the blood of a healthy person as in.

1.Unprotected(without condom)sexual inter course with an infected partner if there is issue injury
to permit blood contact.

2.Use of contaminated razors for shaving.

3Use of contaiminated needles for boring pinnae.

4.Organ transplant.

5.Blood transfusion if doner is infected by HIV.
