Terrific Tuesdays – Dinner on Us!
First Evangelical Presbyterian, New Beginnings Christian Fellowship, and St. Stephen
the Martyr Church provide a “home cooked” dinner to anyone in need every Tuesday
night. The program is called “Terrific Tuesdays – Dinner on Us!”
The “Terrific Tuesday” program began Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Meals are served from
6:00 to 6:45 pm every Tuesday at no cost to the dinner guest. The program now serves
over 90 men, women, and children every Tuesday.
St. Stephen the Martyr and First Evangelical Presbyterian Church host the dinners each
month on a rotating basis. Every week, the New Beginnings Christian Fellowship
Transportation Ministry transports up to 22 dinner guests from the downtown Kent area.
Each church equally shares the cost of food and supplies.
Volunteers from each church work together each week and perform all of the tasks to
make the event happen. All volunteers are welcome to share in this experience of caring
and sharing.

Volunteers are required to sign up in advance!
